I am disturbed grossed out right now. Okay, back in middle school, I used to eat double quarter pounder's from McDonald's ALL the time. Ask my parents. If it was fast food, I preferred McD's 90% of the time. Or pizza. Anyways...
I really don't eat at McD's anymore. I go there for breakfast rarely, but as cheeseburgers go, I now go to Wendy's, or a steakhouse, or I cook my own hamburger meat.
Today I decided to go to McD's to get a double quarter pounder for the first time in YEARS. Literally. They were delicious when I was in middle school, so why wouldn't they be delicious now? Haha... well, it wasn't as good as I remembered. Actually, it was pretty disgusting. Sorry, but it was. I couldn't finish it. Well, live and learn.
I went to Wal-Mart immediately to purchase gum and freshen my breath. I'm feeling better now. At least I know to get a salad, or a grilled chicken sandwich, the next time. Chicken is healthier, and veggies are always good for you. Well, unless they're fried.
Other than disappointment, today was a pretty good day. Started out rough, but I made it through.
One day at a time.

1. Will you run to the store or to pick up a kid looking a mess?
Depends.
If I'm going into Panera to check on the schedule or to buy food/drink, then I will wear at least jeans and a presentable shirt. Since that's where I work.
But... on the other hand, in the evenings, later in the nights... when no one's really out... I will run last-minute errands in my PJ pants. By the way, here's a random picture of me from December 2009 at my parents' house during Christmas break (junior year of college!). Hehe.
Last night, for example, after work I went to Blockbuster to take back a couple DVDs and rent a couple more. I wore my Eeyore PJ pants. It was 9:30. It was getting late. And I think the two employees there were more concerned with getting their stuff done at closing time, as opposed to how I looked.
So... like I said, it depends.
2. Do you finish a book if it's boring or you don't like it?
As a young lady with an English degree, you would think that I would say "yes" to this.
But... I'm bad.
I give up VERY easily on stories that I don't like, or that I'm bored with. I know, I know. I should encourage people to keep reading, even if they don't want to turn the page. But I would feel fake for telling others to do that, for I myself don't finish an irritating book 70% of the time.
3. Beach or mountain vacations?
Hmmm. Good question! :D
Beaches are nice. I've been to some nice beaches throughout the years.
But... one of my dreams is to see more mountain areas. Now, I've never been up INTO the mountains, but visiting my friend Chelsea in Colorado, I've been some beautiful mountains. :)
So, to answer your question, I like both ideas. But beaches will always be there, 24/7, all four seasons. I'm thinking it'd be nice to stay at a cottage in the mountains. And sit in front of the fireplace. And drink hot chocolate. And play board games. And go sledding. And tell some of your favorite memories/stories. ^__^
But then, beaches are nice for collecting sea shells! Hehe.
And here's some memories that I want to share, again!
4. What thing/event says "winter will end and spring is right around the corner" to you?
The colors! The smell of spring. Daylight savings time.
Resurrection Sunday. Butterflies.
Flowers. Green grass. Trees and plants blooming.
St. Patrick's Day... GREEN!
Flip flops. T-shirts. Spring decor.
In other words, just about anything.
And also importantly.... NO SNOW!! =D
5. Would you prefer couples or family vacation?
Well, considering I've never been on that dream vacation with the man of my dreams, I can only relate to family vacations.
And I've had some great family vacations in times past! =D
