I don't have any "special" plans for this weekend. I do have today off work, and then I work tomorrow evening, Sunday morning/afternoon, and then Monday evening. But, you know what? That's okay. I'm grateful for the hours I'm given, and I'm employed somewhere. And Labor Day has never really been a huge holiday weekend for me anyway. ;)
Well... I've changed my blog colors again! I'm excited for autumn. Ohio is very pretty in the fall. I look forward to taking pictures and posting them in here.

1. Shoes in the house - yay or nay?
Nay!
Feet need to breathe, too.
Only keep shoes on when needed, like going to check the mail on our rocky and quite hurtful driveway, coming home or going somewhere, etc.
I like barefeet. Even in the winter when it's cold, I do prefer barefeet most of the time.
2. What do you call them- flip flops, slippers, thongs, etc?
FLIP FLOPS!
They are most definitely flip flops! And no, my favorite colors are not blue and green, if that's what you're thinking. The colors I prefer are just never in my sizes. :P
Because slippers are made to keep your feet warm, if needed.
And thongs... give you wedgies. :P
3. What song are you almost embarrassed to admit you know all the lyrics to?
Arrgh, I can't think of any right now.
BUT... I guess I could mention that when my brother and I were younger, our parents had these cassette tapes. Not sure what happened to my tape, but I do remember my brother's... or part of it. I don't remember the entire song, but here's part of it:

Haha! At least I remember that much of the song... now that it's been almost 20 years later. And I am pretty sure that my tape did say "Rebecca."
Come to think of it, I don't really know what happened to John's tape either. It's a mystery.
4. What is the best quality to have in a friend?
Loyalty.
To have friends who love you and stand by you, even though you've caused a lot of pain towards yourself and/or others. Those who forgive and love you unconditionally.
And that is the type of friend that I want to be, and the kind I strive for. :)
5. Do you know what you want for Christmas?
Not really, except I am hoping to have the opportunity to move out and be more independent by the time Christmas does approach us, or a new chapter of something.
As far as Christmas presents go, I'm thinking a new laptop may be a good thing. Or maybe a vacation to see somewhere different from what I've known.
